  5. The INMASS II Bill of Materials (BOM) program allows you to maintain
  6. accurate, up-to-date records on your product structures, engineering bills, and
  7. production routings. By using effectivity dates you can efficiently manage
  8. product changes and with a single Job Issue transaction you can automatically
  9. remove many items from inventory. Like MC Software's Inventory program, the BOM
  10. module has many capabilities that go beyond those normally found in
  11. microcomputer software. The program produces requirements reports that are
  12. ideal for manufacturers who are not ready for a full, time-phased material
  13. requirements planning (MRP) system. When used in conjunction with INMASS'
  14. multicompany capability and other modules, it gives you a powerful simulation
  15. and estimation tool. INMASS BOM requires MC Software's Inventory and will
  16. integrate with the MRP and Job Cost/Work-in-Progress programs. Custom reports
  17. can be generated with the INQUIRE report writer.
